Grantham Amateur Radio Club will be attending the Grantham College Community Event on Tuesday 28th, from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
On the day, we are planning to set up a live amateur radio station, subject to on-the-day conditions and other operational factors, and operate under our club callsign G0GRC.
We will aim to demonstrate a range of amateur radio activities, including:
- HF (High Frequency) – long-distance communication
- VHF & UHF – local and regional contacts
- Digital modes – modern methods of radio communication
This event provides an excellent opportunity to see amateur radio in operation and to speak with club members about the hobby, training, and licensing.
As an Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB)-affiliated club and registered training centre, we welcome anyone with an interest in radio communication, whether you are completely new or already involved in the hobby.
Admission to the event is free, and tickets can be booked here:
