Every year Grantham Museum invites local societies and hobby groups to exhibit at the museum with the aim to encourage people to try new hobbies and interests. This years event was held on Saturday 16th February and Grantham Amateur Radio Club was invited to take part.
GARC set up an exhibition showcasing Amateur Radio as a 21st-century hobby. On display were old and new radios, handhelds, SDR and Digital, along with various pieces of test equipment.
Paul – M6PKG demonstrated an ICOM 7300 and Daniel – M0GTV showcased the latest portable equipment. Along with Kevin – G6SSN, Pete – 2E0FYQ and Mark – M5DJC who were on hand to answer questions from the general public.
